What is Open Pallet?

Open Pallet sells factory direct goods to manufacturers, distributors, and retailers ranging from consumer electronics to general merchandise at below wholesale cost. Unless specified, all lots sold are new single item units that are never mixed. Customers always know exactly what they are getting and how many pieces they are getting. Open Pallet takes all the mystery and guesswork out of buying closeout, overstocked, and liquidated goods.

Why use Open Pallet?

For Buyers

Unlike other closeout or liquidation sites on the Internet, Open Pallet does not have bundled mystery lots with a mix of random products put together. All lots consist entirely of the same product and buyers will know exactly what is in each of them.

Open Pallet products are also store shelf ready, unless specifically noted. That means every product will have: no open boxes, defective returns or damaged goods. Everything is ready for sale right away.

For Sellers

Open Pallet has built a network of highly qualified international and domestic bulk buyers that are ready to make serious offers on any overstock, closeout or dead stock inventory.

Does it cost anything to buy/sell on Open Pallet?

No. Open Pallet does not charge any referral fees or commissions to buyers or sellers.

How do I buy on Open Pallet?

Buyers can browse through Open Pallet's large catalog of products and make a purchase like any other e-commerce store. Simply add the desired product(s) in to the secure shopping cart and checkout to pay when ready. Account Registration is required. The Open Pallet site is specifically designed to make the buying experience quick and easy.

Are prices negotiable?

Prices are currently fixed for all buyers. Open Pallet already negotiates directly with sellers to get the best prices available. Most products are discounted over 90% off retail prices.

What warranties or guarantees do you offer?

All purchases made on Open Pallet are "as-is" and final, unless a shipment is received visibly damaged. Please document the incident and contact our customer support team within 24-hours and we will resolve the matter quickly.

Do you charge sales tax?

Buyers are ultimately responsible for their own federal, state, and local taxes. Open Pallet will collect sales tax from all buyers on any applicable purchases that we are responsible for. Currently, Open Pallet is only charging sales tax on any purchases in the state of California. **For California-based resellers, we will update your account to tax-exempt status upon verification of your Seller Permit. Please supply permit prior to making a purchase.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Other arrangements must be made if paying by company check or cashier’s check. Please contact our Customer Support team for more information.

How much does shipping cost?

It depends on a variety of factors including, but not limited to size of the order, total weight, number of boxes or pallets, and final destination. Most orders will have the shipping cost automatically calculated when checking out; however, there may be instances when a custom quote is required.

Do you allow local pick up?

Yes. Local pick-up in Industry, California is an option available at checkout. Please contact customer support with the order number after checking out to schedule a time slot for pick-up. Open Pallet must be informed at least 24 hours before any pick-up cancellations. Customers arriving before or after their scheduled time slot will be placed on standby until an open slot is available.

What shipping service do you offer?

Open Pallet works with all the major shipping companies (DHL, FedEx, UPS, and USPS) for domestic and international delivery of goods. Please contact Customer Support for customized shipping requirements or Full Truckload (FTL) transportation.

How do I track my order?

A tracking number will be provided when the product(s) have been shipped. Depending on the shipping company and service used, tracking information is usually updated on a regular basis and can be accessed online through the shipping company's website. Please keep in mind that tracking is not in real-time and may take up to 24-hours for the information to be updated.

Are there any restrictions to what products I can sell?

Open Pallet prohibits the following products for sale. This list is not exhaustive and other restrictions may apply. Each item is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

  • Counterfeit goods
  • Dangerous goods (i.e. recreational drugs, weapons, explosives, and etc.)
  • Items that contain inappropriate content (i.e. hate group paraphernalia, messages of self-harm or racial discrimination, and etc.)
  • Perishable food items
  • Sale of endangered animal parts
