General Policy
All goods supplied are covered by such warranty as is specified below and supplied subject to the product standards detailed by OpenPallet and shall apply to the sale of the goods.
The buyer shall immediately notify OpenPallet or Pacific Valves International (PVI) in writing upon discovery of any defect in the goods. The buyer shall not carry out any remedial work to alleged defective goods without first obtaining the written consent of OpenPallet to do so.
The only conditions and warranties which are binding on OpenPallet in respect of the state, quality or condition of the goods supplied by it to the buyer are those imposed and required to be binding by this agreement and any amendment or re-enactment thereof, and to the extent permitted thereby. The liability, if any, of OpenPallet arising from the breach of such conditions or warranties shall at OpenPallet's option be limited to and completely discharged by –
The replacement of the goods or resupply of same by OpenPallet, or
* The repair of the goods; or
* The payment of the cost of replacement of the goods; or
* The payment of the cost of repair of the goods
This is to be at the selection of OpenPallet
* This warranty covers the operating life of the product, which is guaranteed for a period of 5 years from the production batch date.
Warranty Terms
We hereby confirm our acceptance of the following specific warranty terms, subject expressly to our written acceptance of all relevant claims of defect are due to production or manufacturer’s fault.
* For all claims that are thus accepted as production or manufacturer’s fault
* Any relevant defects will be replaced on a one to one basis
All of the above defects will only be considered for any claims, if the occurrence and validity of the defect is proven to be duly within the guaranteed 5 year operating life of the product, and covered by the above stated warranty terms . All other defects not thus qualified will not be considered for any claims.
Acceptance and Returns
In order to determine the cause of the claimed defects, we would obviously require all the faulty items to be returned to OpenPallet or PVI for testing. However as we feel that in practice, this may not be suitable. We therefore plan to maintain limited stocks in our warehouses in order to provide a more immediate service returns. These service returns will not be subject to our prior inspection of the faulty goods, and will be automatically available for all claims of defects.
Damaged and Missing Products
All items are packaged securely to arrive safely at your door. Inspect upon arrival, open all boxes and check for damage or missing parts, and refuse to sign if damaged. Do not sign without inspection. Concealed damage must be reported within 24 hours. The shipper is not responsible for damage after 24 hours. We strive to ensure that all orders are shipped correctly. If you find damage or missing parts, please notify us immediately upon receipt of goods.

The use of this site is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. OpenPallet shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, OpenPallet shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.

This guarantee allows the customer to purchase any OpenPallet product with full confidence and zero-risk. Any customer may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase and be refunded the full purchase price less delivery fees. When requesting a refund, we ask that the customer briefly explains the reasons for doing so, as well as any suggestions on how OpenPallet could improve its service.
We are confident that our customers will find our products satisfactory in every way. However, if for any reason, a customer is not completely satisfied with any OpenPallet product, the customer may request a refund from OpenPallet at info@openpallet.com or PVI, within thirty days from the date of purchase, to receive full refund of the purchase price.
This guarantee is not limited by the terms of certain specific warranties attached to or packaged with certain products but does NOT apply to any product intentionally damaged or misused.
If a customer requests a refund it is the responsibility of the customer to notify OpenPallet for a request for a refund. Credit card transactions and order fulfilment are handled by established third party banking, processing agents and distribution institutions. POSTAGE & DELIVERY
Delivery Estimates
Delivery estimates are based on the option the buyer selects when purchasing their product. Openpallet uses two forms of postal delivery within Australia both of which are provided by Australia Post:
eParcel Post: 4 – 7 days Australia-wide
Express Post: 2 – 4 days Australia-wide
We do our best to accurately estimate when items will ship from our facilities. However, It may take a certain amount of time to obtain each product before we can post it to you; the normal processing time prior to delivery is 1 to 2 business days.
Postage Methods
OpenPallet uses two forms of postal delivery within Australia both of which are provided by Australia Post and include eParcel Post and Express Post. OpenPallet cannot guarantee your order will arrive in the period stated. Also be aware that weekend pickup or delivery is not available for most postage methods.
Delivery Date - Tracking Your Order
If an order is past an estimated delivery date and you have not received it, please contact us at PVI to speak to one of our representatives or alternatively contact us via email at info@openpallet.com and we would be happy to check on the status of your order.
You can check your order status online by logging in to your account at OpenPallet. From this screen click on the order number that you would like to track, this will take you to the order screen which references your tracking information.
Please check this information if available and review the following options:
If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your neighbours, family members or mail department. Packages are occasionally left with neighbours, building managers, or are placed somewhere relatively safe such as your porch, driveway, garage, or even behind bushes, as determined by the carrier.
If the tracking information indicates that the package is being returned to us, or if the address is outdated or incorrect, it may have been undeliverable. Please contact us at PVI to speak to one of our representatives or email info@openpallet.com with any questions regarding your order.
Postage Restrictions
Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee delivery to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses.
Undeliverable Packages
Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not received confirmation of its return after four weeks from an estimated delivery date, please contact us at PVI to speak to one of our representatives or email info@openpallet.com and we will track your order.
Our carriers may deem a package undeliverable for one of the following reasons:
Incorrect Address: If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is typically returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please double-check your address carefully when placing a new order. To change an outdated or incorrect address from your account, Log In to your account and change the address that is outdated or incorrect to an updated or correct address. If you have an open order with an incorrect shipping address please correct your account address and contact one of our representatives at PVI or at info@openpallet.com as soon as possible so we can rectify your order. Orders not yet despatched will be updated. Orders in route will be redirected; charges will be the responsibility of the customer. You’ll be contacted by an OpenPallet representative for returned orders which can be redelivered at an additional charge. After 3 business days of your order being returned, it will be processed as a Don’t Want and a subsequent order would have to be placed.
Address Format: If a post office box address was entered in a format our system does not recognize, the package would process as an incorrect address.
Failed Delivery Attempts: Most postal companies will make three attempts to deliver a package. Packages that contain a certain dollar amount of merchandise may require a signature. Otherwise, it is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us. You’ll be contacted by an OpenPallet representative for returned orders which can be reshipped at an additional charge. After 3 business days of your order being returned, it will be processed as a Don’t Want and a subsequent order would have to be placed.
Delivery Refused: Your package may have been delivery refused by a member of your household not expecting a package. Your order will be processed as a Don’t Want and a subsequent order would have to be placed.
